Donna Kolb Boesl, Chief Executive Officer
Donna Kolb Boesl is CEO of Walter Electric. Her goal is to offer the best electrical service, repair and installations to residential, commercial and property management clientele in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. She always offers a competitive price, with fast, expert service.
Donna was previously CEO of Kolb Electric in Baltimore. As part of a third generation family owned business, Donna opened the Baltimore office in 1993, and continued to grow Kolb Electric in the area until founding Walter Electric in 2015. Rich in her heritage, Donna has served in the Electrical Contracting business her entire life.
Donna is also a 2014 Brava! Award winner by Baltimore SmartCEO magazine. This award distinguishes Donna as a top female business leader in Baltimore. She is also a member of a variety of industry organizations, including the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA), Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), and Communication Association Institute (CAI).
Gus Boesl oversees the company’s service in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. He has worked for Walter Electric since inception and has more than 30 years of experience in the residential and commercial electrical industry, having worked as an estimator, purchasing agent, project manager and branch manager, and most recently COO of Kolb Electric in Baltimore for 15 years.
Gus is a certified master electrician and a member of several industry organizations, including the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Chesapeake Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the Electric League of Maryland. Upon request, he is available to speak to industry standards, new developments, safety procedures and tips for a variety of electrical issues pertinent to homeowners, business owners and property managers.
The topics for which Gus can serve as an expert include: circuit breaker and panel replacements, recessed lighting installations, outlet wiring, dimmer and light fixture installations, infrared thermography inspections, security lighting, outdoor lighting, hot tub wiring, appliance wiring, generator installation and maintenance, aluminum wiring and more.
